Author events: Meet Valerie Bertinelli at Winnetka's Book Stall

• Authors Eric Bodwell, Roger Breisch, Laura Henrikson, Cathy Kern and Eileen Kimbrough will appear at the October Waterline Writers event, beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, in the art gallery at Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water St., Batavia. Breisch will read two essays from "Questions That Matter," which will be available for purchase. Bodwell, Henrikson and Kimbrough will discuss a variety of topics via poetry.
