Glenbard West 6, Lyons Twp. 1:

Scottie Monocchio pitched a 1-hitter with 5 strikeouts and 3 walks as the Hilltoppers (3-4, 1-1) won in the West Suburban Silver. Sam Kaske, who doubled twice, and Kevin Spencer each had 2 hits.

Lake Park 4, Waubonsie Valley 0:

The Lancers (3-2, 1-1) won in the DuPage Valley behind pitcher Dan Defino, who fired a 4-hitter with 8 strikeouts. Zach Aehlert homered and Jarod Pankau had 2 hits.

Wheaton North 6, WW South 2:

The Falcons (3-4, 2-0) broke open a scoreless game by scoring 5 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning of their DuPage Valley victory. Connor Olson went 2-for-2 with 3 RBI. Winning pitcher Jon Vesevick struck out seven and allowed no earned runs in 6 innings. Matt Scherrman went 2-for-3 for WW South (3-5, 0-2).

Neuqua Valley 12, Metea Valley 5:

Fourteen hits paved the way for the Wildcats (7-0, 2-0) in the DuPage Valley. Noah Herdman, Tim Schneider and Jake Wenz had 3 hits while Jack Rigoni homered and James Gargano doubled twice with 2 RBI. Rick Castro was the winning pitcher. Ashton Creal and Jake Kmeicek drove in 2 runs for Metea Valley (2-4, 0-2).

Benet 9, St. Joseph 1:

The Redwings (5-3) scored 5 runs in the sixth inning. Erik Jones went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI while Brandon Gorz also drove in 2 runs. Winning pitcher Mark Moran struck out six in 4 innings.

York 13, Downers North 8:

Eleven different players had hits for the Dukes (7-1, 2-1), who took two of three in the West Suburban Silver series. Joey Chiappetta went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI. Andrew Deardurff drove in 2 runs. Mike Bernal, Mike Pastuovic, Jake Hadawi and Austin Gelsomino had 2 hits apiece. Charlie Pakenas was the winning pitcher in relief. David Giuliano went 2-for-5 and Trey Romay had 2 RBI for Downers North (7-3, 1-2).

Timothy Christian 12, Walther Christian 1:

The Trojans (7-1, 2-0) won in five innings in the Metro Suburban behind Jimmy Allen, who struck out 12 in a 2-hitter. Noah Marrera homered and had 3 RBI. Allen, Josh Anderson, Jonny Strube, Brian Schiff and Connor Gwaltney all had 2 hits.

St. Francis 5, Sycamore 2:

Tim Sullivan was the complete-game winner for the Spartans (2-5), striking out seven and allowing no earned runs. Nick Kosmetatos went 4-for-4 with 2 RBI and Liam Brown launched a 3-run homer.

Hinsdale Central 13, Downers South 1:

Kyle Wisch, winning pitcher Matt Deiss and Travis Pelton combined on a five-inning no-hitter for the Red Devils (5-0), who scored 10 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Andrew Zapka went 3-for-3 with a homer and 5 RBI while Mitchell Mulvihill also homered.
