14-year-old shot in ear among 18 wounded in Chicago violence
CHICAGO (AP) - Four people were killed and 18 people were wounded by gunfire at the start of the weekend in Chicago. Among the wounded was a 14-year-old Chicago boy shot in the ear.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports (http://bit.ly/1U1pGI9 ) the boy was shot in an alley about 3 a.m. Saturday in the Englewood neighborhood. He was in stable condition at Comer Children's Hospital.
Among the dead was a 32-year-old man who was shot in the head while sitting in a vehicle in the West Englewood neighborhood. Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
