Batavia

• A resident of the 1100 block of South Batavia Avenue reported a case of fraud at 11:47 a.m. Monday after learning a cellphone account was opened without the resident's knowledge when three phones arrived at the house.

Kane County

• Thomas W. McGrath, 35, of the 200 block of Second Street, Burlington, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, obstructing identification, operating a motor vehicle while using an electronic communications device, and illegal transportation of alcohol after a traffic stop at 6:06 p.m. April 22 on Center Street near Burlington, according to a sheriff's report. A passenger, Tatyana McGrath, 35, also of the 200 block of Second Street, was cited for obstructing identification, the report said.
