Warren 7, Grant 2: At the Miner's Classic in downstate Marion, Warren moved to 3-0 on the season with a win over a former North Suburban Conference foe.

Tanner Dyer, Lukas Schmitt, Vic Perez and Jake Nitch each had 2 hits. Schmitt drove in 4 runs.

Pitcher Pasquale Defilippis got the win.

Homewood-Flossmoor 6, Wauconda 4: John Herbst had 2 hits and Trevor Sefcik had a double to lead Wauconda, which committed 4 errors.

Libertyville 2, Santa Barbara 1: In Arizona, Libertyville pulled out the win by scoring a run in the top of the seventh inning.

Pitcher Collin Fields got the win. He had 3 strikeouts over the final two innings.

Brant Kym had 2 hits to lead the Wildcats.

Stevenson 11, Medina 1: Stevenson pounded out 12 hits to roll to the win.

Evan Kiah and Isaac Lucas each had 3 hits and Kiah homered.

Pitcher Michael D'Angelo got the win with 4 strikeouts over 2⅓ innings.

Mundelein 9, Carbondale 1: In Carbondale, Mundelein used 12 hits to get the win.

Brendan Murphy went 3-for-3 with a double and a triple and Andrew Beres went 2-for-2 with a double.

Austin Greco also had a double.
