Blazejowski leads Furman over Chattanooga 41-17

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - P.J. Blazejowskithrew three touchdown passes in Furman's 41-17 win over Chattanooga on Saturday.

Blazejowski finished with 138 yards passing for the Paladins (3-3, 2-1 Southern Conference) before being replaced by backup Harris Roberts late in the third quarter due to a leg injury. Antonio Wilcox and Darius Morehead each ran for a score and Kealand Dirks had 101 rushing yards. Logan McCarter caught two touchdown throws and Andy Schumpert caught another.

Blazejowski threw two touchdowns in the first half and Wilcox and Morehead each ran for scores to give the Paladins a 27-10 advantage at halftime.

In the third, Blazejowski faked a keeper then threw to a wide open McCarter for a 57-yard touchdown and the Paladins pulled away 34-10.

Dillon Vann added a 33-yard interception return late in the fourth to seal the win.

Cole Copeland threw for 317 yards and two scores for the Mocs (1-5, 1-2), but was intercepted four times.
