Grain higher, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 6 cents higher at $4.5320 a bushel; May corn was 7.25 cents higher at $3.64 bushel; May oats was 3.50 cents higher at $1.8840 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 7 cents to $9.3520 a bushel.
Beef mostly lower and pork prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .10 cent lower at $1.3398 a pound; April feeder cattle was .10 cent higher at $1.5565 a pound; April lean hogs gained .15 cent to $.6650 a pound.
