Brazen thief steals painting from Indianapolis hotel
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a brazen thief who they say stole an expensive painting from the Conrad Hotel.
Police say the unidentified man walked into the hotel on Aug. 4, took the painting off the wall, and then walked out of the downtown luxury hotel with the painting.
WRTV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2cxXj4H) the stolen painting by artist Jason Myers is titled 'Myself #70" and valued at $3,800.
The Conrad Hotel has 247 guestrooms including luxury suites that feature world-renowned art.
