Grain mostly higher, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mmostly higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was 2.40 cents higher at $4.24 a bushel; May corn was off .20 cent at $3.6320 a bushel; May oats was rose 1.40 cents at $2.1860 a bushel while May soybeans gained 9.20 cents to $9.5220 a bushel.
Beef mixed and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle was .58 cent higher at $1.2713 a pound; April feeder cattle was down .30 cent at $1.3795 pound; May lean hogs fell .25 cent to $.6595 a pound.
