East Carolina hires ex-Tennessee football assistant Mahoney

GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) - East Carolina has hired former Tennessee assistant Don Mahoney as its offensive line coach.
Coach Scottie Montgomery announced the hiring Wednesday.
Mahoney was the Volunteers' offensive line coach from 2013-16 and spent last season as the assistant head coach at Division II Concord in West Virginia.
The former Marshall offensive lineman has also coached at Cincinnati, Central Michigan and Tulane.
