Girls soccer: Buffalo Grove gets past Prospect

Buffalo Grove's girls soccer team edged visiting Prospect 2-1 on Friday in a matchup of Mid-Suburban East leaders.

Pam Bolis scored with an assist from Macy Floro in the second half for the go-ahead goal.

In the first half, which ended tied at 1, Floro scored an unassisted goal.

Prospect's keeper was Gianna Rossi, and BG's was Jackie Molloy.

Schaumburg 9, Wheeling 0: Leading the way for the Saxons were Melissa Schneider (4 goals), Al Schaar (2 goals, 1 assist) and Emma Aguilar (1 goal, 2 assists).
