Queen of the Rosary Students Selected as Regional Winners in Econ Poster Contest

Queen of the Rosary is proud to announce that seven 2nd grade students are regional winners of Dominican University's 2015-16 Economic Concepts Poster Contest.

The poster contest was open to students in grades 1-8 throughout IL. Twenty-four posters were selected as regional winners. Seven of the twenty-four regional winners came from the Elk Grove school's second grade classrooms. All seven posters illustrated and identified goods and services.

Congratulations to the following students: Hayden Nelson, Michael Pochron, and Virginia Torelli, Allison Gogola, Karina Mika, Griffin Schlenbecker, and Tala Shelton.

A reception for regional winners will be held on May 18 at Dominican University. Twelve posters will be selected as state winners and will be featured in a 2016-17 school year calendar.
