Lindenhurst hydrant flushing

The village of Lindenhurst will conduct its semiannual water hydrant flushing program beginning Monday, April 4, depending on weather conditions. The process will be performed daily, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will continue until all applicable water mains throughout the village have been flushed. The anticipated completion date is April 15. Residents are urged not to do laundry during this period to avoid staining of clothing, which may occur due to the disturbance in the water main.
