Possible explosives, guns found in Indianapolis apartment
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Possible explosives, guns and gas masks have been found in an Indianapolis apartment.
Television stations WRTV and WTHR report Wednesday that officers found the items Tuesday night after responding to reports of shots fired in the area.
WTHR reports that officers determined a gun was fired accidentally and no one was hurt. But a police bomb squad was called to the apartment.
Several firearms, ammunition and some cash were confiscated. What could have been homemade smoke bombs were sent to a lab for testing.
No arrests were made.
