Make your own ceramic mugs at Adler center

The David Adler Music and Arts Center, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, will host a ceramic mug making workshop from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26. Participants will make two original ceramic mugs using the center's low-fire clay. Slab construction, surface texture, and unique handle designs will be explored in making your hot-beverage drinking vessels. Fun flourishes of colored slips, funky feet, and pattern making will make your one-of-a-kind treasures enjoyed for years to come. Cost is $50. Visit www.adlercenter.org/ to register.
