Grayslake to give trustee a send-off

Grayslake village board members plan to honor a colleague who resigned to move out of state. At a meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday at village hall, 10 S. Seymour Ave., the board will formally recognize Trustee Amy Edwards for her 11 years of service. In addition, Edwards served on the advisory economic development commission. Tuesday's session will be Edwards' finale as a Grayslake elected official. Her resignation is effective July 31.
