Letter: A death deterrent

A letter was recently published that had very interesting statistics and analysis pertaining to people, guns and mass shootings. One important statistic was left out. Gunshot wounds are the leading killer of our children in this country. Perhaps if the perpetrators had to strangle each and every victim the outcome would be different.
