Prospect Heights man pleads guilty to child porn possession

A 49-year-old Prospect Heights man pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography and was sentenced to three years in prison.

Vladimir Rozenberg was arrested in October 2016 after investigators from the Cook County State's Attorney's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force determined that a computer user was making numerous pornographic images available online.

After linking the service provider address to Rozenberg, investigators searched his home, where they recovered desktop computers and hard drives containing videos and images of children engaged in sexual conduct, prosecutors said.

Court records show Rozenberg was sentenced to lifetime sex offender registration.
