Anti-abortion demonstrations planned in three suburbs Thursday

Anti-abortion protesters will conduct demonstrations Thursday at busy intersections in Palatine, Arlington Heights and Lake Zurich with posters displaying large and graphic images depicting aborted fetuses, as well as images of living children.

Demonstrations will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Rand Road and Main Street in Lake Zurich; 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rand and Dundee roads in Palatine; and from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Rand and Arlington Heights roads in Arlington Heights.

The events, organized by the Chicago-based Pro-Life Action League, are among demonstrations held or behind held at 24 locations around the Chicago area between July 8 and 16. The last takes place Saturday outside Planned Parenthood in Aurora.
