The impact of the Syrian crisis

The Syrian Crisis, the Iran Connection, and Its Impact on the Region is the topic of a presentation at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at the Stevenson Center on Democracy, 25200 N. St. Mary's Road, Mettawa. Coffee and conversation will follow the presentation by Irv Badr, who spent his childhood in the Middle East, South Asia, and South East Asia. Badr is an expert in the region's politics and religions and a frequent speaker at Middle East forums and political interest groups in the Chicago area. Admission in $15.
