Prescription drug plan counseling for seniors

Fremont Township will provide free counseling to help residents compare their current prescription drug plan to new options that may better suit their needs or be less expensive. Medicare's open enrollment ends Dec. 7 and changes take effect Jan. 1. To schedule an appointment with a Senior Health Insurance Program counselor, call Nancy at (847) 223-2847. The appointments will be available through Dec. 7. You will need to have an online account with Medicare and a list of your current prescriptions before making an appointment.
