AARP Illinois hosts COVID-19 telephone town hall tonight

AARP Illinois will host a COVID-19 telephone town hall today at 7 p.m. that will feature Gov. JB Pritzker, Illinois Department of Public Health Director Dr. Ngozi Ezike and AARP officials to address concerns of older adults.

The event will be available on Facebook Livestream on AARP IL, Governor JB Pritzker and Illinois Department of Public Health Facebook pages, AARP Illinois said in a news release. The telephone town hall will allow thousands of seniors across Illinois to engage directly with Pritzker and Ezike about questions and concerns about health, wellness and service offerings in response to the novel coronavirus, the news release stated.
