Reality of gun politics

I again read in "Your Views" a writer blaming President Donald Trump for not supporting more gun control legislation. I remind your readers, Congress writes the legislation. The president signs or doesn't sign what's presented to him. So be correct by blaming your legislators for not doing their job.
