Palatine police release enforcement results

Palatine police have announced results from a traffic enforcement crackdown that occurred around Thanksgiving. Police in particular conducted seat belt enforcement from November 17-27, reminding motorists to buckle up and not drive impaired, day or night, as part of the nationwide Click It or Ticket mobilization. During the mobilization, Palatine police issued 93 seat belt citations, two DUI arrests, 12 speeding citations, two uninsured motorists' citations, 71 illegal use of mobile phone while driving citations and 33 other traffic-related tickets.
