Hoffman Estates collecting Valentine's Day cards for seniors

Hoffman Estates Mayor Bill McLeod and village trustees are calling on kids, families and organizations in town to create unique Valentine's Day cards for seniors.

Valentines must be delivered to the drop box in the lobby of village hall, 1900 Hassell Road, no later than Wednesday, Feb. 10. The cards will be delivered to seniors at Brookdale Senior Living and Alden Poplar Creek, as well as seniors involved with the village's Commission for Senior Citizens.
