South Elgin shows off new public services facility
The village of South Elgin hosted an open house Monday for people to see its new public services facility.
The building will house the public works department and the parks and recreation maintenance staff.
The $7.2 million facility was 18 months in the making. It was completed on time and under budget, according to a news release from the village.
Staff members, designers and construction personnel were on hand for the ribbon cutting.
