GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Freshman Marina Mabrey scored 14 points to help second-ranked Notre Dame beat Duke 83-54 in Friday's quarterfinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament.

Fellow rookie Arike Ogunbowale also scored 14 for the top-seeded Fighting Irish (29-1), who shook off a slow start to build a double-digit lead by midway through the second quarter on the way to an easy win. Notre Dame led by 15 at halftime and by 31 from there, continuing its three-year dominance of the league since joining the ACC in 2013-14.

Notre Dame improved to 55-1 against ACC opponents during that time. The Fighting Irish play No. 21 Miami in Saturday's semifinals.

Azura Stevens scored 19 points to lead the eighth-seeded Blue Devils (20-12).

NO. 3 SOUTH CAROLINA 57, AUBURN 48

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Alaina Coates had 14 points and 12 rebounds, her 16th double-double of the season, and South Carolina used another solid defensive effort to beat Auburn in the Southeastern Conference women's tournament.

The top-seeded Gamecocks (29-1) won their seventh straight since losing to top-ranked Connecticut and advanced to the SEC semifinals for the third consecutive year. They will face No. 13 Kentucky on Saturday.

No. 9 seed Auburn (19-12) posed little resistance despite keeping the game close for a quarter and a half.

Brandy Montgomery led the Tigers with 18 points.

NO. 5 MARYLAND 75, IOWA 55

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and Brionna Jones each scored 23 points to help Maryland pull away from Iowa in the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals.

The Terrapins (28-3), this year's regular-season conference champs, have won seven straight and 16 of 17 to reach Saturday's semifinal.

Iowa (19-13) was led by Ally Disterhoft with 16 points and Indiana native Whitney Jennings with 11.

NO. 7 LOUISVILLE 60, GEORGIA TECH 50

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Myisha Hines-Allen had 22 points and 13 rebounds to help Louisville beat Georgia Tech in the quarterfinals at the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament.

Hines-Allen didn't get a lot of help from her teammates, with the rest of the second-seeded Cardinals (25-6) managing to shoot a combined 28 percent (12 for 43). But they frustrated the cold-shooting Yellow Jackets (19-12) just about all night, taking a 10-point halftime lead and never letting Georgia Tech closer than six again.

Second-leading scorer Mariya Moore struggled, finishing with 11 points on 1-for-12 shooting.

ACC leading scorer Aaliyah Whiteside finished with 20 points for seventh-seeded Georgia Tech. Louisville faces Syracuse in the semifinals on Saturday.

NO. 8 OREGON STATE 63, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 53

SEATTLE (AP) - Jamie Weisner scored 20 points and Ruth Hamblin and Sydney Wiese added 17 apiece to lead Oregon State to a victory over USC in the Pac-12 tournament quarterfinals.

The Beavers (26-4) advance to Saturday's semifinals against the winner of Washington (21-9) and No. 11 Stanford (24-6).

Edwards had 20 points for the Trojans (19-13) and Temi Fagbenle added 10.

NO. 9 OHIO STATE 73, RUTGERS 58

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Kelsey Mitchell scored a Big Ten Tournament record 43 points and Ohio State overcame a slow first half to beat Rutgers to advance to the semifinals.

The Buckeyes trailed the entire first half and by as many as nine. But they outscored the Scarlett Knights 26-11 in the third quarter, taking their first lead during a 10-0 run to put them in front 38-28.

The Buckeyes play No. 19 Michigan State in Saturday's semifinals.

Tyler Scaife and Kahleah Copper combined to score 27 of Rutgers' first 29 points. Scaife finished with 26 and Copper with 25 points and 12 rebounds.

CALIFORNIA 75, NO. 10 ARIZONA STATE 64

SEATTLE (AP) - Pac-12 freshman of the year Kristine Anigwe scored 24 points, Asha Thomas added all 16 of her points in the second half and California stunned Arizona State in the Pac-12 tournament quarterfinals.

California, the No. 10 seed, knocked off Utah in overtime in the opening round on Thursday, then handed the Sun Devils their second straight loss. The only hope for the Golden Bears (15-16) to make the NCAA Tournament for a fifth straight season is to win the conference tournament after a lackluster regular season that included four- and five-game losing streaks in conference play.

The Bears will face No. 12 UCLA in the semifinals on Saturday.

Kelsey Brunner and Kianna Ibis led Arizona State (25-6) with 14 points each, but the Sun Devils will head into the NCAAs having lost consecutive games for the first time this season.

WASHINGTON 73, NO. 11 STANFORD 65

SEATTLE (AP) - Junior guard Kelsey Plum scored 29 points to become Washington's career scoring leader and the Huskies turned back a furious fourth quarter rally by Stanford in the Pac-12 tournament quarterfinals.

Fifth-seeded Washington (22-9) advances to Saturday's semifinal against top-seeded and No. 8-ranked Oregon State (26-4), a 63-53 winner over USC.

Plum, who entered third in the nation in scoring, scored on a drive down the lane to put Washington up 65-53 with 5:41 remaining.

Stanford (24-7) answered with a 12-2 run, pulling within 67-65 with 2:43 left on a 3-pointer by Lili Thompson, her third of the quarter.

Katie Collier's free throw with 2:11 left made it 68-65 and Talia Walton nailed a 3-pointer from the left corner to put the Huskies up 71-65 with23 seconds left as the Cardinal missed its final five shots.

Erica McCall led Stanford with 22 points.

NO. 12 UCLA 72, ARIZONA 51

SEATTLE (AP) - Monique Billings scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and UCLA raced past Arizona for the win in the Pac-12 tournament quarterfinals.

UCLA (23-7) used a big first half to take a 21-point halftime lead and cruised into the semifinals. The Bruins will face California in the semifinals Saturday. The Bruins knocked off Arizona 80-53 a week ago in Los Angeles and followed up with another dominating performance to reach the Pac-12 semifinals for the first time since 2013 when UCLA lost in the championship game to Stanford.

Nirra Fields added 17 points and UCLA won for the seventh time in eight games.

LaBrittney Jones led Arizona (13-19) with 15 points. No other Wildcats scored in double figures.

NO. 13 KENTUCKY 92, NO. 25 FLORIDA 69

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Makayla Epps had 22 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, and Kentucky beat Florida in the Southeastern Conference tournament.

Janee Thompson added 19 points for the Wildcats, who won their eighth consecutive game. Evelyn Akhator chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds for her 12th double-double of the season and third in a row.

Kentucky advanced to play top-seeded and third-ranked South Carolina in the semifinals Saturday.

The fifth-seeded Wildcats (23-6) scored 33 points in a blistering second quarter and added 28 more in the third, building a 21-point lead that was too much for the No. 4 seed Gators (22-8) to overcome.

Carlie Needles led Florida with 15 points.

NO. 21 MIAMI 74, NO. 14 FLORIDA STATE 56

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Jessica Thomas hit 5 of 6 from long distance and scored 21 points and Miami, the fifth-seed, took control in the second half to defeat Florida State, the four-seed, in the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament.

The Hurricanes (24-7), who lost a late lead against their in-state rival to lose 70-67 in the regular season finale, pulled away this time to earn a spot in semifinals on Saturday against second-ranked Notre Dame.

Shakayla Thomas and Leticia Romero had 14 each for Florida State (23-7), which shot 23 percent (7 for 30) after intermission, its worst half of the season.

TENNESSEE 70, NO. 15 TEXAS A&M 60

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Diamond DeShields scored 21 points, Bashaara Graves added 19 and Tennessee beat Texas A&M in the Southeastern Conference tournament.

DeShields (7 of 11) and Graves (7 of 11) combined to make 14 of 22 shots as the seventh-seeded Lady Vols won their third straight and advanced to the semifinals of the league tournament.

Courtney Williams led Texas A&M with 20 points on 10-of-20 shooting. Tennessee plays Mississippi State on Saturday in the semifinals.

NO. 16 MISSISSIPPI STATE 63, VANDERBILT 46

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Dominique Dillingham scored 12 points, Teaira McCowan added 11 and Mississippi State beat Vanderbilt in the Southeastern Conference tournament.

The third-seeded Bulldogs (25-6) won their fourth consecutive game and advanced to play seventh-seeded Tennessee in the semifinals Saturday.

Rachel Bell led the Commodores (18-14) with 11 points, the only No. 11 seed Vandy player in double figures.

NO. 17 SYRACUSE 80, NORTH CAROLINA STATE 61

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Alexis Peterson scored 18 points and Syracuse scored 29 points off turnovers to beat North Carolina State in Friday's quarterfinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament.

Brianna Butler added 17 points for the third-seeded Orange (24-6), who used their full-court pressure to harass the Wolfpack into 18 turnovers. Syracuse also made 12 3-pointers.

Syracuse advanced to Saturday's semifinals to play No. 7 Louisville.

Miah Spencer scored 22 points to lead the sixth-seeded Wolfpack (20-11) whose loss ensured this would be the first time none of the four North Carolina-based schools reached the semifinals.

NO. 19 MICHIGAN STATE 65, PURDUE 64

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Aerial Powers scored 26 points and corralled 12 rebounds to help lead Michigan State past upset-minded Purdue in the Big Ten tournament.

Branndais Agee scored 13 points and made six steals for the third-seeded Spartans (23-7).

Michigan State advances to meet No. 2 Ohio State in Saturday's semifinals.

No. 6 seed Purdue (20-11) raced to a 32-25 halftime lead, and had a chance to tie late. April Wilson missed a trey with five seconds left, and Bree Horrocks drove for a layup for the final score.

Bridget Perry led Purdue with 18 points.

NO. 22 COLORADO STATE 81, AIR FORCE 48

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - Jamie Patrick scored 21 points and Colorado State routed Air Force to clinch the Mountain West Conference title and its 25th straight victory.

Patrick made five 3-poiners and was 8 of 13 from the field. Ellen Nystrom had 13 points and Elin Gustavsson chipped in 12 for the Rams (28-1, 18-0), who finished the program's second undefeated conference regular season.

Colorado State, which has the nation's second longest active win streak, earned a first round bye in the Mountain West Conference tournament.

Cortney Porter scored 13 points to lead Air Force (1-28, 1-17).

Colorado State has the second-best record in school history, trailing the 1998-99 team that finished 31-1.
