Schaumburg Christian advances in Class 1A regional
Schaumburg Christian's boys basketball team advanced to the semifinal round of the Class 1A Christian Liberty regional by topping Lombard College Prep 84-54 on Tuesday.
The scoring output marks a season-best for the Conquerors, who meet Deerfield Rochelle Zell at approximately 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the semifinal round. Zell advanced by defeating Christian Liberty.
Top seed Westminster Christian (Elgin) meets Islamic Foundation (Villa Park) at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The winners of the Wednesday games will meet at 7:30 p.m. Friday for the regional title.
