Lake County retired teachers

The Lake County Retired Teacher Association will meet at noon Tuesday, March 8, at Lambs Farm restaurant at Route 176 and I-94 near Libertyville. The cost is $16 per person for the buffet luncheon and meeting. Don Snitsinger, president of the Lake County Farm Heritage Association, and Dick Price, treasurer of the Ela Township Historical Society, be guest speakers. Their families have been a part of Lake County for many generations. Snitsinger's mother and his brother wrote books about the history of Lake County. Snitsinger and Price will show artifacts and share stories that will paint a picture of farm life in Lake County, where various groups settled, what they did and how they lived. All retired educators are welcome to attend and no reservations are necessary.
