Tackle the politics later

A recent letter praising Gov. Cuomo's response to the coronavirus made me laugh, because the job he is doing - and doing well - is because he is taking all the steps suggested by the president's team.

As opposed to NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio's March 5 tweet …."Since I'm encouraging New Yorkers to go on with their lives and get out on the town despite the coronavirus, I thought I would offer some suggestions ... go see The Traitor."

And here's the NYC health commissioner on Feb. 9: "Today we are celebrating the Lunar New Year in Chinatown ... I want to remind everyone to enjoy the parade and not change any plans due to misinformation spreading about the coronavirus."

Both of these statements were made after President Trump instituted the travel ban from China. Makes sense as to why NYC is the epicenter.

I totally agree this is the time to unite the country. A time to forget about politics. We can tackle politics later.
