Taste of Glen Ellyn continues through weekend

The 39th annual Taste of Glen Ellyn is expected to draw near-record crowds this weekend in the village's downtown, organizers say.

The celebration, which is featuring food from 16 area restaurants and other vendors, normally draws between 18,000 and 25,000 people during its four-day run. In addition to all that food, the fest includes a weekend craft show, business expo, carnival and live music.

The party is scheduled to continue from noon until 11 p.m. today and noon until 7 p.m. Sunday near Main Street and Hillside Avenue. For details, visit glenellynchamber.com.
