The Holmstad offers downsizing seminar March 22

The process of selling a home and moving can be an emotional and trying experience. Learn steps to help prepare and sell your home when The Holmstad hosts Kate Curran of The Moving Station at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 22.

The Holmstad is a faith-based, nonprofit continuing care retirement community located at 700 W. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia.

Curran will discuss the best way to prepare a home for the market, including tips for sorting, organizing and downsizing. She'll share her years of experience with helping senior adults transition to retirement community living.

Moving Station is a relocation company offering specialized assistance to seniors who are selling their homes. The company's experts assist with managing the home sale process, including downsizing, providing access to reputable household goods movers, and helping families with the transition to senior living.
