Fashion designer Kristin Cavallari shares her memoir

She wears many hats, like many modern women, but as a television personality, fashion designer, actress, mother of three and wife of Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, Kristin Cavallari recently added one more role: author.

Cavallari comes to Naperville to share her new lifestyle/ memoir, "Balancing in Heels," at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at Anderson's Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave. Following a brief intro, the new author will begin her book signing line.

In her book, Cavallari shares how she juggles all facets of her busy life with style and grace. From outlining health and wellness, food, fitness, fashion and her success as a businesswoman to more private matters of family, motherhood and her relationship with her husband, Cavallari leaves no stone unturned to give fans of "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills" all of the answers they've been looking for.

Tracing her journey from reality stardom to the good, the bad, and the ugly of real life, Cavallari digs down to the most personal of relationships in her life and discusses how they made her who she is today.

She also talks about the effects of her healthy diet and exercise, which have made Cavallari and her family the happiest and healthiest they've ever been. She shares the family's favorite recipes and reveals how her food philosophy has drastically improved her husband's Type 1 diabetes.

Cavallari came to prominence as part of the group of Laguna Beach high school students featured in the reality show "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" in 2004 and 2005. From there, Cavallari has gone on to become a fashion designer and actress. She and her husband have two sons and a daughter.
