'Stories at the Museum' begins Nov. 9 at Elgin Public Museum

Gail Borden Public Library, the Elgin Public Museum and Elgin History Museum will be offering "Stories at the Museum," a free story program for ages 3 to 6.

The first program, "Stories at the Elgin Public Museum," will be 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the museum, 225 Grand Blvd. Enjoy a storytime by Ms. Madeleine and a special presentation about Native Americans given by Education Coordinator Francesca Zomkowski. Register at gailborden.info/register. Other programs at the Elgin Public Museum will be Jan. 11 and March 8.

The second program will be "Stories at the Elgin History Museum" from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at the museum, 360 Park St. Ms. Madeleine will lead a storytime and there will be a special presentation about race cars, given by museum educator Sara Russell. No registration is required. Look for other interesting topics at the Elgin History Museum on Feb. 8 and April 12.
