St. James School Bulldog Chorus Performs at Chicago Wolves Game

A Chicago Wolves hockey game might be an appropriate time to howl like a wolf! But the St. James School Bulldog Chorus did much better than that!

On Friday April 1, the Chorus performed at the Allstate Arena, entertaining Wolves' fans with a lively performance! The Chorus is 51 children strong, comprised of students in grades two through five. They gave a rousing pre-game performance of the song "Best Day of My Life" by American Authors. Under the direction of Mrs. Karen Luehr, the boys and girls worked for two months to prepare for this night.

The hard work truly paid off, as the Bulldog Chorus received a standing ovation after their performance.

Following the game, students enjoyed a meet and greet with the Wolves players who patiently posed for pictures and signed autographs. It was a memorable night for all!

The Bulldog Chorus has performed at the Arlington Heights Nativity Scene Blessing at North Park and the Village Arbor Day celebrations, and Christmas concerts at Barnes & Noble, along with concerts at the school and Sunday liturgies.
