Long Grove to celebrate Irish Days this weekend
Long Grove's three-day celebration of Irish Days will kickoff at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Long Grove Fountain Square, 228 Robert Parker Coffin Road.
Entertainment through the weekend will feature Irish step dancers, Irish music and a Best Men's Legs in a Kilt Competition. Chicago-based Harrington's Catering and Deli will sell corned beef sandwiches, fish and chips and other traditional Irish fare.
The event runs 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday. For more information, visit http://longgrove.org/festivals/irish-days/
