Lake County Exchange Clubs to host free breakfast in Gurnee

The Exchange Clubs of Lake County will host its annual One Nation Under God Breakfast from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the Village Church of Gurnee.

The event brings together communities and businesses to appreciate the blessings of liberty bestowed upon the country. The featured speaker will be Bruce Johnson, the CEO of Nicasa Behavioral Health Services and a Marine veteran who was awarded the Bronze Star while deployed in Afghanistan. He served more than 28 years in the Marine Corps Reserve.

The program will also recognize military veterans and honor their service to the country with a medley of patriotic songs by the Viking Park Singers.

The breakfast is free and open to the public. The Village Church of Gurnee is at 1319 N. Hunt Club Road.
