Green Living Fair returning to Libertyville

The seventh annual Green Living Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at the Libertyville Civic Center, 135 W. Church St.

Sponsored by the Civic Center Foundation in cooperation with Lake County Green Congregations and Faith in Place, the event features educational and recycling opportunities in sustainable living, green shopping, gardening, organic farming, recycling and waste reduction, composting and green cleaning.

DVDs, ink jet cartridges, cellphones, gym shoes, eyeglasses, hearing aids and Christmas lights will be collected inside the facility, and bikes, bike parts and Styrofoam blocks outside. Electronics or plastic bags will not be accepted.
