Small-minded insult to legitimate hero

Recently, I watched President Donald Trump give his usual self-aggrandizing speech at the signing of the John McCain Defense spending bill. The bill was named by Congress to pay tribute to a man who has actually given his life to the service of this nation including five years in the Hanoi Hilton and refused repatriation until the rest of the POWs were released. A person who also happens to be dying.

Not once did Trump mention his name in talking about the bill deliberately dropping McCain's name from the title every time he mentioned it.

It never ceases to amaze me how incredibly small and narrow-minded this man can be. A man who continues to maintain his position of Draft-Dodger-In-Chief has the gall to denigrate a person who has given more to this country than Trump will ever contribute.

The low standards of his hard-core supporters are beyond belief.
