Peterson Road work wrapping up

While the majority of the widening project was completed in 2015, construction crews are back at Peterson Road between Route 83 and the area west of Alleghany Road near Grayslake for some remaining work. Crews will be grading and planting the medians, finalizing all remaining landscaping, and placing the permanent pavement markings. The traffic signals are scheduled to be installed starting next week. Daily lane closures are planned while the remaining work is finished. Drivers are advised to watch for trucks and equipment entering and leaving the job site.
