Students take part in Lake County mock trial
Students from Robert Abbott Middle School in Waukegan will participate in a mock trial Thursday entitled "The People vs Mitchell, Bullying and the Legal Consequences," in recognition of National Bullying Prevention Month.
The event is sponsored by Lake County Circuit Clerk Erin Cartwright Weinstein. It is designed to demonstrate the possible legal consequences of bullying in schools.
The mock trial will take place in the new Lake County Criminal Court Tower room T-810 from 9 a.m. until noon.
