Lombard's fall blood drive set for Nov. 10
Lombard's fall blood drive will take place Wednesday, Nov. 10, in honor of Veterans Day. The event also recognizes former Village President Bill Mueller, who died in 2012.
The blood drive runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the mobile coach parked on the lower level of Yorktown Center, outside of Von Maur. It will continue from 1:30 to 7 p.m. at First Church of Lombard, 220 S. Main St.
All donors will receive a $15 e-gift card that can be used at a variety of stores.
Residents are encouraged to donate. Mueller was a lifelong servant to the village, and the blood drive honors his passion for giving back to community members.
