Challenge for bipartisanship
If the reaction of some of Joe Biden's fellow Democrats is any example of what is happening in America, we are certainly taking huge steps backward. When Mr. Biden referred to Vice President Mike Pence as a "good guy," there were those in his party who attacked him.
We all should realize that we do not, and probably never will, agree on all issues but that shouldn't mean we can't like one another and just agree to disagree occasionally. This should be a major concern for all of us that there are those who have recently been elected who are so closed minded, but obviously since they were voted into office there are many people who approve of this way of thinking.
I don't know about you, but this really concerns me. Unfortunately so many people, I believe, hate President Donald Trump that they are willing to discredit all connected with him without any regard for what that will do to America and Americans. When people become that closed minded, it does not bode well for our country. We can only hope that these people are a very small minority and that the adage, "the squeaky wheel gets the oil" holds true and that they are not reflective of the thinking of the majority.
