Metropolis Ballroom to host fifth annual Corks for a Cause for Special Olympics Illinois

Join Special Olympics Illinois for the fifth annual "Corks for a Cause" from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Metropolis Ballroom in downtown Arlington Heights.

Patrons will enjoy tasting more than 30 wines from all over the world along with craft beers from local breweries! This event includes delicious hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction and raffle. Tasting passports are $40 and are available online at www.corks4cause.eventbrite.com. A "Designated Driver" ticket is also available.

All proceeds from Corks for a Cause will benefit Special Olympics Illinois North Suburban Cook/Area 18 and support more than 1,600 athletes with intellectual disabilities in the area.
