Tootsie Roll drive this weekend in Des Plaines

Members of Knights of Columbus Fr. Linden Council 3627 at St. Zachary Parish will be giving out Tootsie Rolls on the streets of Des Plaines this weekend in exchange for donations.

The Knights' annual Tootsie Roll drive to benefit those with intellectual disabilities will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Members will be wearing yellow vests and carrying Tootsie Roll banks to collect donations for Special Olympics and Misericordia, among other organizations.
