Ortiz leads St. Charles East over Willowbrook

St. Charles East 51, Willowbrook 35: Nate Ortiz had a huge game for St. Charles East, scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists to lead the Saints to a win at the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic. Cody Mitchell added 7 points and 11 rebounds for St. Charles East.

Westminster 67, North Shore 59: Westminster finished in third place at the CLA Shootout with a 3-1 record in the tournament. William Kmieciak led all scoring with 20 points for the Warriors and Chris King finished with 16 points. Also scoring in double digits was Conner King with 13 points.

Plano 71, Kaneland 49: Ben Durbala and Wyatt Peeler led Kaneland with 10 points each, as the Knights fell to host Plano in Christmas Tournament play. Will Cushman added 9 points for Kaneland.

Harvest Christian 78, Rochelle 70: Garrett Burdin of Rochelle led all scorers at the Marengo EC Nichols Tournament with 23 points. Matt Ellett led Harvest Christian (8-4) with 19 points and Jack Nohava added 18 points.

Fenton 46, St. Edward 40: Daniel Parks led St. Edward (9-7) with 17 points at the ICCP/Westmont Holiday Tournament. David Hill finished with 11 points.
