Lombard church ready to celebrate Germanfest

Lombard's Sacred Heart Catholic Church will holds its annual Germanfest celebration from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19; 5:30 p.m. to midnight Friday, July 20; 1 p.m. to midnight Saturday, July 21; and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at 114 S. Elizabeth St.

The party will include carnival rides, bingo for kids and adults, an indoor casino, a raffle, a bags tournament, beer and wine tents, and plenty of homemade German food and desserts.

Live music will be provided by 7th heaven, Harbingers Ball, 97 Nine and more.
