Palatine police auction set for May 5

The Palatine Police Department is holding an auction of unclaimed property beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at the police headquarters, 595 N. Hicks Road.

Bicycles, jewelry, personal electronic devices, sports equipment and more will be available for bidding. All items will be on display for viewing at 9 a.m. Personal checks with a valid form of identification or cash will be the accepted forms of payment.

Parking is limited; follow the access drive along the south side of the police facility through the open gate. The auction will take place at the garage entrance on the northeast corner of the building.
