Aurora water wins state taste contest
Aurora has the best-tasting water in Illinois, according to the Illinois Section of the American Water Works Association.
Aurora, which won an award for having the best water in Kane County, defeated Rockford, Park Forest and Champaign County. Water was judged on taste, odor and color. Aurora last won the award in 2009.
It advances now to the National Water Competition to be held in June in San Antonio, Texas.
