Touch
It was a sunny day in May, and I was walking on the street near the curb while my 4-year-old granddaughter walked separately, alongside me on the sidewalk. We talked about how much we missed being together, but how happy we were to be walking outside. Next thing I knew, without any provocation, she tentatively grabbed my hand to hold and at that moment, I realized how that single, unexpected moment of my grandchild's hand, touching mine, brought me to tears. I have learned to appreciate the little things we take for granted
I want her kiss soon.
